The HCS20 can be used for horizontal and vertical cutting. The saw stops automatically if the blade jams thanks to the system pressure relief valve. The blade stops rotating a maximum of 10 seconds after releasing the trigger, ensuring no injury to the operator. Flushing water runs through the body and hydraulic motor for extra cooling and to keep all surfaces cold. The HCS20 Power Drive has an automatic water trigger system, activating the water flush along with thee saw itself with one trigger.
